I would much prefer to be outside when I run, but sometimes we just can’t. For me it’s ice. Here in New York, we do get icy conditions that can last several weeks. While I don’t mind the cold weather, running on ice just isn’t for me.
But I don’t let that stop me from running. I have a small but very usable “gym” in my basement. It has a treadmill, a stationary bike, a kickboxing bag, a rowing machine and even an inversion table (se my video on this post).
Hey, I get that using some of this stuff can be dull. Who really LIKES running on a treadmill. Indoors. For 30, 60 even more minutes. But there are ways to make it more tolerable. Even – dare I say – enjoyable!
